Dear Kimball Public Schools Community, Tragically, last night, Mary Lynch teacher Bernie Walker died. Our students and staff are hurting today. As a school district, we will do whatever we can to help our students, staff, and community overcome this tragedy. Students who need time to process this situation may be excused from school with parent permission. The school will make additional counselors available to all students and staff who would like to talk to someone. Students wishing to reach out to a staff member to talk about this matter are encouraged to do so. Kimball Public Schools counselors can be reached by contacting the Mary Lynch office at (308)235-4696 / the Jr/Sr High office at (308)235-4861 or you may go to the school website “kpslonghorns.org” and fill out a “Parent Request for Assistance Form” located in the “Mary Lynch Elementary” tab.
